Aware of its importance and necessity, the management is committed to implementing and maintaining an Environmental Management System within the scope of the Design, Development, and Distribution of Bathroom Furniture, and to continuously improving all the Organization's processes throughout the value chain.

AML assumes fundamental commitments within the scope of the Environmental Policy:

The design and development of increasingly sustainable furniture, with the use of more sustainable forest-based products;
Compliance with environmental legislation and other environmental aspects applicable to its activity;
Adoption of a proactive attitude and measures for pollution prevention;
Promotion of rational and sustainable management of resources, namely water and energy, with particular attention to reducing consumption;
Continuous improvement of environmental performance through awareness and involvement of all employees and suppliers in the prevention and sustainable use of resources;

For this purpose, objectives and targets will be established and periodically reviewed in different areas of operation, aiming at reducing the environmental impacts resulting from its activity.

As an organization committed to the environment, AML uses recycled materials and certified raw materials, providing its customers with products based on sustainability.

Management commits to ensuring compliance with the established Environmental Policy and its periodic updating in response to the evolving needs of AML - Sanitary Accessories, Inc. and its external environment.

Environmental Aspects and Impacts

AML – Complementos Sanitários, S.A acknowledges the importance of organizational environmental performance in combating climate change. Therefore, as part of the implementation of the Environmental Management System, we proceed with the identification of environmental aspects directly or indirectly related to our activity. This identification allowed us to identify the impacts associated with greater significance for the Environment and to implement a set of measures for their mitigation, allowing their control (in the case of direct environmental aspects) or influence (in the case of indirect environmental aspects), taking into account the activities of its subcontractors and suppliers.

The following aspects were identified:
